This Privacy Policy explains how DevPumas ("DevPumas," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit devpumas.com (the "Site") or otherwise contact us. We only collect what is described below — we do not sell your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, subject, and message. This is sent directly to our team to respond to your inquiry.
  • Direct communication. If you message us on WhatsApp, book a call through our Calendly link, or email us directly, we receive whatever information you choose to share through those channels, subject to WhatsApp's (Meta) and Calendly's own privacy policies.
  • Client project information. If you engage us for a project, we collect the additional business, technical, or account information reasonably necessary to deliver that project, as agreed in the applicable proposal or Statement of Work.
  • Local preferences. The Site stores a single, non-tracking preference (your light/dark theme choice) in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us or any third party.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this Site. If that changes, this Policy will be updated accordingly before any such tool is enabled.

2. How We Use Information

  • To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form, WhatsApp, email, or Calendly;
  • To scope, deliver, and support projects for clients who engage our services;
  • To send project-related communication (for example, invoices, updates, or scheduling); and
  • To maintain internal business records.

We do not use the information you submit for unrelated marketing without your consent, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

Operating this Site and our business involves a small number of third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

  • Email delivery (SMTP provider): used to route contact-form submissions to our inbox.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): used for direct client communication when you message us.
  • Calendly: used for scheduling calls when you book a meeting with us.
  • Vercel: our hosting provider, which processes standard web request data (such as IP address) to serve this Site.
  • WordPress (content.devpumas.com): powers our blog content. Reading blog articles does not submit any personal data to WordPress through this Site.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Aside from the local, non-tracking theme preference described above, this Site does not currently set tracking or advertising cookies. Our hosting and email providers may use strictly necessary technical data (such as IP address and request headers) to operate and secure their infrastructure, consistent with their own policies.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the third-party service providers listed above solely to operate the Site and deliver our services, or where required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DevPumas, our clients, or others.

6. Data Retention

We retain contact-form submissions and client project records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, deliver an engaged project, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and maintain business records. You may request earlier deletion as described in Section 8 below.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information submitted to us. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have submitted to us by emailing contact@devpumas.com. We will respond to legitimate requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.

9. Children's Privacy

This Site and our services are directed at businesses and are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Users

DevPumas operates from Pakistan. If you contact us or engage our services from outside Pakistan, your information will be processed by our team and the third-party providers listed above, which may involve transferring information to, and processing it in, Pakistan and the countries where those providers operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here before taking effect.
